Staff Optimisation Programmes

Staff Optimisation Programmes

All our programmes are designed to increase productivity and thereby profit. How we get you there is never the same process, because no team is ever the same. Hence, our programmes are completely bespoke and are based on us understanding each individual in your team and the unique challenges they face.

We will make you into a business athlete, because just like an athlete focuses on training their body for peak performance, you need to train your brain to be able to give 100% in your job. Just like an athlete, you can’t spend all day performing, or you will burn out before long. With physical and mental challenges, psychometric evaluations and the latest neurofeedback technology (a type of biofeedback rewiring the brain through auditory brainwave recalibration), we’ll get you to work more intelligently using the full potential of your brainpower, so that you can achieve maximum results and won’t feel depleted by the end of the day.

Below are a few ways in which we have helped previous clients:

With our in-depth knowledge of the human body and brain, we know that stress can come from many places. Your sympathetic response won’t just get sparked by too much work, but could also be a result of muscles that haven’t stopped contracting all day. In a stress and burnout busting programme we are likely to combine breathing techniques to activate your parasympathetic nervous system (your “rest and digest” state) with computer ergonomics, chair-based postures and movements, before we tackle deeper states of relaxation and awareness with concentration, meditation, sound and non-linear neurofeedback provided by Arbor LDN, all of which will have a lasting effect on your body’s heart rate variability, brainwave activity, the architecture of your brain and your resilience to stress.

You may have a team of highly competitive type A personalities who all need a certain skill-set and attitude to excel at their job, but a different kind of emotional intelligence to be good team players. If your team is in constant conflict and doesn’t work well together, our programme may start with quieting a potentially overactive amygdala (a key node in the brain’s stress response) and regulating brainwave function through calming breath and concentration practices as well as neurofeedback sessions. These interventions and specific meditation techniques will also focus on strengthening the relevant neural circuitry responsible for empathy and perspective-taking, two components crucial in team-building and improving negotiation skills, whether in a team or with clients.

Sleep still carries the stigma of laziness and sleeping too little is often worn like a badge of honour. Numerous studies show that your decision-making, focus and memory as well as your physical health all deteriorate if you don’t get enough sleep. In a programme designed to improve your sleep quality and efficiency and overall longevity, we are likely to combine practices that enhance levels of telomerase in your body to slow your cellular ageing with Q&A sessions and 1:1 guidance on lifestyle and nutrition, when to work out and what to eat or not to eat based on your body and what supplements if any you may benefit from. We may also offer neurofeedback, an electroencephalography-based brain function enhancer with a proven record of aiding sleep.

The brain is the biggest consumer of energy in the body and more than half of our day is spent in the “default mode network”, a part of the brain associated with mind-wandering. This process is more exhausting for the brain than being focused is. In a programme centring on optimising cognitive function and energy, we use practices of mindfulness to improve your working memory and focus, sound baths to improve physical and mental health, neurofeedback to enhance sleep and attention as well as techniques to give you the tools to get into a flow state, in which you’re effortlessly focused on a task without being distracted. It will make every work day not only pass more quickly but also more enjoyably.
